Funjet Vacations Introduces New VAX Booking Experience
New technology searches both charter and scheduled air at the same time.
MILWAUKEE, January 22, 2008 – Funjet Vacations has improved its VAX booking and shopping functionality to significantly improve the travel agent's experience. Its scheduled air and charter/value flights can now be searched together in a single place through VAX Vacation Accesses' new Dynamic Booking Engine. This booking system requires fewer clicks and offers travel agents more intuitive searches to find that unforgettable vacation experience.
The one-stop booking means agents will be able to spend more time engaging the customer and designing the perfect vacation. The new layout includes one step air-only and air/hotel searches and easier price comparison between charter and scheduled air options. Familiar resources, like the charter destination search calendar, will still be available for use.
"We simplified the VAX booking process to make it easier for agents - all of the investments and improvements we make begin with the great feedback we get from our travel agency partners," said Ray Snisky, president of Funjet Vacations. "These improvements and enhancements will allow agents to more quickly search for the options and products that their customers are looking for."
To further customize the vacation, agents can easily add a rental car, activities and other add-ons with another click. All comparable information remains visible on one screen for an instant assessment by the agent. The total price of the travel options is readily available and automatically updated with any change or addition.
