Local Couple Wins Trip of a Lifetime With Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, Funjet Vacations
MILWAUKEE, Aug. 8, 2007 – Funjet Vacations made unforgettable vacation memories for a local couple, Adam Miller and Jennifer Stitt of Denver, by recently taking them along to the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders calendar photo shoot in Cozumel.
Miller signed up for the contest because he loves all things Broncos-related. In fact, his dedication is more than skin-deep. Miller sports a Denver Broncos' logo tattooed on his left bicep, a gift from Stitt for his birthday.
The grand prize from Funjet Vacations included round trip airfare from Denver to Cozumel with seven nights at the all-inclusive Iberostar Cozumel for two people. All meals, beverages, tips and select activities at the hotel, as well as round trip transfers to and from the Cozumel Airport and the hotel were included. The best memories from their trip include "getting to hang out with such a great group of ladies," said Miller. And, with great memories come special stories that get told to friends and family. Millers' favorite story is when "he got to take a picture with a few of the cheerleaders right after a photo shoot. In the picture, I have my tattoo showing and am flexing my muscle with the ladies surrounding me."
As first-timers to Cozumel, Miller and Stitt were invited on a snorkeling trip with the cheerleaders. "It was fun to hang out with them and see all the colorful fish and beautiful coral," said Stitt. In fact, one of her favorite stories comes from the snorkeling excursion. "I was snorkeling right off the pier at the resort, and I saw a huge barracuda. I was wearing a swimsuit that had sequins on it, and fellow snorkelers were telling me that my suit looked like food to the fish. Needless to say, I was a bit leery of the barracuda thinking I was food. But, the fish ignored me, so it must not have been hungry."
While there, the couple also enjoyed all the local wild and sea life. "Just about everything was unforgettable, from the blue, clear ocean to the vibrant colors of the fish," said Stitt.
"All the staff from the Broncos, Iberostar and Funjet were fantastic. I have never been on a vacation or trip where I was taken care of so well by such a classy and great group of people," said Miller. "Before this trip, I had a very positive image of the Broncos organization, but after meeting the cheerleaders and getting to know many of them, I now see the organization as even greater than I could ever imagine. GO BRONCOS!"
