Mark Travel's 19 vacation companies are distributed via Web sites, airline distribution systems and VAX VacationAccess, a state-of-the-art online reservations and management system for travel agencies. Mark Travel has been a pioneer in online travel commerce, as the first tour operator to make leisure travel available through an airline reservation system, and the first to provide instantaneous confirmation of vacation reservations via the web.
Sophisticated voice and data network systems connect Mark Travel's three state-of-the-art call center facilities in the United States. Calls are automatically routed based on staff availability and response levels, providing customers with a high level of service.

Awards & Honors:
The Mark Travel Corporation's founder, William E. La Macchia, was inducted into the National Tourism Hall of Fame in 2004. He has also been frequently named one of the 25 most influential travel industry executives by Leisure Travel News, a national trade publication.
In 2003, The Mark Travel Corporation was awarded the key to the city of Cancun, the first time in history it was given to a tour operator.
The Mark Travel Corporation also received the key to the city of Las Vegas in 2002 and in 1985.
